Yet another masterpiece by Tim Burton, this had everything, from laughing your socks off to crying your eyes out. it was brilliant, one of th best films i have seen this year.

It was a pale imitator to the nightmare before christmas. Bland songs, characters that lack depth.
Nice art direction which is typical of burton, but it's all a bit soulless.

Lacked depth? not quite sure how you came to that, I personaly got quite raqpped up in the chracters and was intrigued to find out more one it was finihsed?

actually, I tell a lie. Some of the supporting cast were very interesting and I would have liked to have seen more of them.
I stand by my assertion that Viktor/dead bird/living bird were all a bit 2 dimensional.

I know what you mean with the other chracters I thought the interaction between the two sets of parent was brilliant and i thought the bad guy was very good. Good choice in Chri Lee aswell. Whgat a voice!
